How to Enable Cheat Mode

• Enter the following command on the game select screen to enable cheat mode.
• L, R, R, L, R, R, L, R, L, R
• If successful, you’ll hear Dixie’s voice, and the code entry screen will appear.
• LIVES → Your lives will be set to 50
• MUSIC → Enables the Sound Test
• ERASE → Deletes the high score
• COLOR → Changes the colors of Dixie and Dinky (persists after saving)
• ASAVE → Auto-save mode. You can resume from the last cleared stage
• WATER → You can now swim into the waterfall on the map screen (see next section for details) (persists upon saving)
• MERRY → Christmas Mode. Bonus stage decorations and BGM change (persistent upon saving)
• HARDR → The number of DK Barrels in stages is reduced. Achieve 104% completion upon clearing all stages (New save file only; saved permanently)
• TUFST → DK Barrels and Continue Barrels disappear. Clearing all stages results in a 105% completion rate (New save file only; effect persists upon saving)

Note:
The effects
of COLOR, WATER, MERRY, HARDR, and TUFST are permanent once saved. To disable them, you must delete the save data and start over from the beginning.

WATER Code – 85 Bonus Coins in the Waterfall Cave

Method:

1. In cheat mode,WATER.
2. Start the game and swim toward the waterfall located at the center-left of the map screen.
3. Inside the cave, follow the instructions on the buttons displayed on the screen.
4. If you enter everything correctly, you will instantly receive 85 bonus coins.

Effect:

• You can obtain a large number of bonus coins at once that are not available during normal play.
• Since bonus coins are required to enter Crematour Island (the hidden world), this is extremely helpful for completing the later stages of the game.

How to Unlock the Hidden World "Crematora Island"

Method:

1. Find the four rocks (Compass Rocks) located slightly to the right of Mechanos Factory Island.
2. Using a boat-type vehicle (hovercraft recommended), circle around the four rocks several times.
3. If successful, "Cremathea Island" will emerge from the water.

Result:

• You will gain access to the hidden world "Cremathea Island," which does not appear on the standard world map.
• You need Bonus Coins to enter each stage on Crematour Island.
• Completing this world is essential to see the game's true ending.

Note:
You
can hear this hint at Blunder's house starting from the mid-game.

Requirements for 103%/104%/105% Completion

• 103% (Normal Clear): Clear all stages + Collect all Bonus Coins + Collect all DK Coins + Collect all Banana Birds + Clear Krematour Island
• 104% (HARDR Mode): Clear the game in a new save file created in cheat modeHARDR. Must be cleared with a new save file where the number of DK Barrels has been reduced.
• 105% (TUFST Mode): Complete the game in a new save file created in cheat mode by enteringTUFST. Must be a complete clear on the highest difficulty with DK Barrels and Continue Barrels removed.

Effect:

• Upon achieving 105%, the title "The Incredible Banana King" is awarded.
• In TUFST Mode, barrels remain only in certain stages (where teamwork is required).

How to increase your life to 99

Method:

1. Enter Stage "1-1 Lakeside Limbo".
2. An invisible balloon (1UP balloon) is hidden to the right of the second bonus barrel.
3. Once you collect this balloon, exit the stage and re-enter it.
4. The balloon will respawn in the same spot, so you can increase your lives to 99 by collecting it repeatedly.

Effect:

• You can easily max out your lives in the early stages.
• This is very effective as preparation for difficult stages or boss battles.

How to Reach the Glitch Stage (8-6 Rocket Rush)

Method:

1. Enter stage "8-6 Rocket Rush".
2. First, make sure only Dixie is on the screen (leave Dinky defeated).
3. Destroy the DK Barrel at the starting point and switch to Dinky.
4. Board the rocket as Dinky and reach the area just before the finish line without making any mistakes.
5. The moment you exit the rocket, you will be teleported to the glitch stage.

Effect:

• You are sent to an abnormal stage with corrupted graphics.
• There is only one automatic turret on the stage; there are no shutters, warp barrels, or a goal.
• The cave stage BGM plays.
• You can escape by pressing Start + Select (if you have cleared the game).

Notes:
The timing
of the procedure is very strict, and the success rate is low. This is a glitch technique meant to be tried out of curiosity.

Playing an instrument on the Game Over screen

Method:

1. After the game ends, enter the following while the Game Over screen music is playing.
2. L, R, A, B, X, Y
3. After the song ends, pressing any button on the controller will produce a sound.

Effect:

• Different sounds are assigned to each of the L, Y, X, A, B, and R buttons, allowing you to enjoy playing freely.
• Pressing a button also triggers an animation where text blocks on the screen bounce.

Vehicle Horn

How to:

1. On the map screen, select a boat (motorboat, hydrojet, or jet ski).
2. Press the X button to sound the horn.
3. Additionally, while holding down the X button, press L and R simultaneously to play the opening melody of a children’s song.

Effect:

• This is a minor Easter egg that doesn’t affect gameplay, but it shows the developers’ playful spirit.
• The sound varies depending on the type of vehicle.

Others Tricks

• Funky's Anger Event: After renting a vehicle at Funky's boat shed, if you leave the vehicle behind and walk back to the shed, an event occurs where Funky gets angry at you.
• Passing Through Shutters: In the "Squeals on Wheels" stage, if you move right during the invincibility frame after colliding with a Krimp (enemy), you can pass through shutters that you normally cannot go through.
• Boss Glitch (Arlik): During the battle against the giant spider boss "Arlik," if you use Dixie and press the down key at the seam between the body and the left leg, you can pass through the boss's body.
