Warp Barrel
Defeat the first four rats, then immediately climb onto the platform above and use a Jump Team-Up to jump into the Warp Barrel from the left.
Bonus Area 1
Crush the green crocodile and use a Body Slam to break the cracks in the platform.

Grab the steel barrel near the "O," throw it so it hits the left wall, and have the barrel hit your back.

Bonus Area 2
Defeat the first green crocodile you encounter after the checkpoint, then jump into the water behind its platform. Swim right under the platform to reach the bonus barrel.
