Since the "K" is higher than the waves, you don't have to worry about colliding with it, but to reach the "K," you need to use the crab as a stepping stone, and the crab might get swept away. Therefore, quickly step on the crab to grab the "K" and hide behind the wall.

After Puzzle Piece 4, there is an "N" below. Use a roll jump to pass through the gap and get the "N".

Keep hitting the ground, and eventually the puzzle piece will pop out.
